Him calling Kizaru "uncle" is a cultural thing in Japan for someone younger to call their elders auntie or uncle when there is a clear age difference. Especially in close relationship be it non-blood family or work. It's to show respect.

So much so that he's really in no condition to be on the battlefield. It's a miracle he's not confined to medical care to begin with. That's just how badass Zoro is.

And to be even more fair none of the Kid and Law fight or that thing with shooting the laser at Luffys hand hapoened in the manga. Which is fine but it also can mean that we can't use the filler stuff for any accurate measuring since Oda didnt write it. Also, if Kids power is just controlling and being all magnetic with metals then his power would be largely dependent on the enviroment, his power is amazing for fighting marines though🤔
