2020-02-24 00:25:27 +0000 UTCI love Isaac so much, usually in storytelling friendship and love are reserved for the protagonists while the antagonists have loyalty (usually by fear or greed) or betray each other. Isaac is truly Dracula's friend and it's not just loyalty from a common goal, he stays by his side even though Carmilla has a better way of achieving that goal. Dracula's flashback also confirm some of his thoughts: he only killed the merchants who disrespected him, not their wives and children, he only kills those responsible. So for him to want to kill all humans, it's not just "some guys killed my wife, so now you all die because of them", he truly deeply believe that all humans are guilty of murdering his wife, because any of them could have stood up against the church.
