Let's just say that next episode is hype. This episode is where people's opinions on Zenitsu really started forming as a whole. I wonder which side of the spectrum you'll fall here. Also Boar boy is great. Characters only improve from here.

Zenitsu is a real well written character in my eyes. Someone who is forced to be in this situation when he doesn't even want to be in this profession. It gives a real interesting view on how not all DS actually want to be.

Yeah Demon Slayer is very interesting for that. Zenitsu and "pig guy" are very polarizing characters for the audience. Zenitsu especially. Tanjiro is a very interesting shounen protagonist to me because he didn't have the stereotypical faults most shounen protagonists have that most authors put in to make the characters relatable. So instead they took those faults, attached them to 2 additional characters and inserted them into the story. Personally, I'm not a fan of that and preferred the story when it was just Tanjiro but I understand why people like those two. Hopefully their characters grow going forward in the story and I learn to like them some more.

Haha yeah I love these two characters, when I saw Zenitsu I had a slight idea how his character would play out and he doesn't disappoint.

you're coming up to one of my favourite fights in this season, the drum demon actually has some pretty cool abilities, also the boar psycho guy is pretty fun as well, I love characters who just have a lust for battle. also Nichirin swords, the thing Tanjiro called his swords just mean that they're demon slayer swords, same as his and Zenitsu's.

This is when the season gets worse IMO. Zenitsu starts fucking around in the background and drawing attention away from the fights, which makes very interesting fight episode consepts result in some pretty boring episodes with some good stuff thrown in. The pig guy isn’t as bad but I don’t really like him either... failed comic relief always sucks...
