Yeah this episode is really funny!

He's still better than that one villain that comes up later. The one that shows up in the 500's.

Pirate Crew Luffy vs Pirate Crew Moria...Who will win?!

Wishmaker007

Yeah but I accept it for what it leads to. It really is the calm before the storm in many waysz

Jcw490

The first and last time I’ve ever heard anyone refer to Moria as a badass 🤣🤣

Jcw490

If only all zombies had that much personality I'd actually enjoy zombie movies, although I also like the twist here where the zombies are the ones running away scared from wild rubber man.

The arc with the most new unique laughs begins

Love Thriller Bark. Some people rewatch Halloween, some rewatch Nightmare on Elm Street, some rewatch Friday the 13th in the month of October. I rewatch Thriller Bark! The island boat is interesting. As mentioned a few episodes ago, it is an island from the West Blue and apparently by putting sails on it was able to make it travel as if it were a boat. Such a neat concept. In a Q&A aka SBS in the manga a reader asked Oda: Is the Thriller Bark story inspired by things like The Addams Family and The Nightmare Before Christmas? I love the atmosphere in those films. Oda: Yes, the films. I love them too. In order to draw Thriller Bark, I even watched a lot of zombie movies, which I’ve never really done before. By my nature, I don’t like scary things, so even though I put a lot more black into the art, I still tried to make silly, funny zombies. When artists draw about ghosts and dead people and things that aren’t meant for polite society, they always go to the shrine to pray beforehand… as did I. I mean, I don’t want to get cursed or anything.
