Ohohohoho Whats amazing here is Ace was hunting Blackbeard first time we met him, 230 episodes ago! And Teach and his crew were mentioned as early as Choppers arc, the 5 pirates who destroyed Drum Island and sent King Wapol running. Shanks warned Whitebeard that he should stop Ace from confronting Blackbeard. I seem to recall you saying the straw hats should just quickly kick the asses of the BB pirates and be on their way to Skypeia when they first showed interest in taking down the strawhats and confronted them. Still feel that way?

Been waiting for your reaction to this, this is one of the only fights in the series that starts and wraps up in one episode while still being awesome to watch heh. Some crazy arcs coming up in the future, although they tend to be dragged out more unfortunately as well.

OH YEAH, BLACKBEARD IS IN THE BUILDING! One Piece does a great job of reminding you that the world started turning long ago, not just when the straw hats came on the scene. Luffy and his crew may be extremely talented, but there are many crews out there who started out at least as strong as them, and have been at the pirate game for years-sometimes decades in the case of the yonko.

Ace was one of my favorites since he was first introduced, so the first time I seen this episode I was Amazed by how good it was “I’m going to make whitebeard the king” One things for sure Ace is a badass

Yes as we can see from this fight and the last few episodes although Luffy and the Strawhats defeated CP9. There are still people in this universe who are leaps and bounds stronger than them, which seem quite unreal since we saw how unnatural CP9’s strength was in comparison. Had Ace not found Blackbeard when he did then Monkey D Luffy would be Monkey D. Dead. That’s how powerful Blackbeard is, which is why Shanks warned Whitebeard to back down from having Ace find him.
