Back when I was watching this series, I deliberately put off these last few episodes because I KNEW they'd end in tears. Years later and I see this reaction series and figure I'd finally finish it... only to end up in my chair, choking on snot and crying harder than the first time I watched the Going Merry's farewell in One Piece. Korosensei's farewell, the Merry's farewell and... certain episodes of Wolf's Rain (if you've seen it, you know the ones) are my top 3 most depressing anime moments.

Silver lining: The scientist guy didn't actually die in the manga, but is crippled for life. The 2nd Reaper got acknowledged by his master, and Kurosensei and Yukimura can live together in the afterlife.

Also, I doubt it'd ever pass a poll here, but when Korosensei was talking about a spinoff with him as the demon king? It exists. Korosensei Quest is a little humorous spin off re-imagining of the entire series in the context of a video game where the students are getting trained by the big bad. Check it out if you just want some mindless fun with the cast.
