Though some shots hold a special place in my heart (that one where Enel finds out his lightning doesn't work on Luffy being a personal favorite).

Essentially they are the Hashirama & Madara’s of this show. As of now you met 2 of the 4 Yonko, Shanks & Whitebeard. We can consider these 2 Yonkos to be Hashiramas. As far as the Marines the only people who can stand toe to toe with these Yonkos are Garp & Sengoku (The Navy guy who owns the little sheep) you’ve seen him before. All these guys are essentially the big dogs in the One Piece world.

His brother is the Commander of the 2nd Division of the Whitebeard pirates, one of 4 of the most powerful pirate groups in the world whose captain could match up to Gol D Roger. His father is the elusive leader of the Revolutionary army, with apparently the ability to control the wind itself. His grandfather is a Vice Admiral of the Navy, and a man who cornered Roger many times. One of the biggest questions for fans so far is who is his mother, as i believe that has not been revealed to date. Personally placing my bets on her being a queen of some country, it'd fit with the craziness of the family tree xD
