The beginning of this episode shows just how many lives Moria had ruined. There were at least a thousand shadows there, I always liked how tons and tons of shadows just flew up and away in all directions. Moria truly was a force to be reckoned with at one point, but the new world (and the strawhats) crushed him.

This is 2020. We don't have hardships. All of our hardships are minor. A "world war" that only involves one small nation, and was over within a month after one plane was shot down. A "plague" that only has a slightly higher mortality rate than the yearly flu. A "market crash" that's still over 500% up from it's all-time low. A "failing healthcare system" that keeps people alive past 100. A "wealth divide" where the impoverished have miniature super-computers in their pockets, and government funded credits to get free food.

Now that Moria is defeated it should be stated that Moria was by a long shot the weakest Warlord. He gained his status during his peak where he had a reputation, a humanised crew and was in shape. The Moria you see now is just a shell of his former self. Kuma is in an entirely different league. Ps: Happy Gilmore hype.

To me, the scariest part about Bartholomew Kuma is how absolutely nonchalant he acts in every scene. The fact he can chill on the toppled tower with his legs crossed and calmly say annihilating everyone on that island "will be easy" is absolutely terrifying. Usopp must be shitting himself...
