Uryu is so stupid here hes got a problem with soul reapers fine but he even mentions that he knows when ichigo got powers and ichigo points out it has nothing to do with him yet he still starts shit what a dick and thats not even mentioning next episode

Orihime is actually really smart throughout but she can be a bit annoying in a certain arc. That arc is the reason why many don't like her tbh

Ah Quincy's, I've been waiting for this arrow to drop... And the author of this show (Kubo Tite) writes characters how he sees fit, by his vision. Rather than following tropes which many other animes tend to do a lot more. Sure, tropes still exist in Bleach but it's not as front and center. As for the Soul Reaper and Quincy different ideas on how to take care of the Hollows, I'm with the Shinigami on that one. Because Hollows were once human and turned into hollows because they were unable to pass on. The human part doesn't deserve to die, only the Hollow. A Quincy on the other hand kills the human as well. And for the humans who were bad before becoming a hollow, getting killed is actually the easy way out. As we seen with the Hollow that went to hell (underworld)

Fun fact. In the manga, uryu was in the background during the Don kanonji stuff. you can even see him about reaching out to hop the fence and stop kanonji, but stops when he sees ichigo rushing in.

I had never seen the dub before, so Uryu's voice kinda threw me off. He's got the same Japanese VA as Sasuke, so I kinda expected something similar as well^^ But it's actually not bad after a while. Just takes some getting used to; makes the character seem a bit different than in the sub. I'm looking forward to more of him :)

This is probably one of my favorite parts in the series. You’d better strap in for a wild ride! Also Uryu is like Kon. He seems like an awful person but he grows on you!
