LITTLE BUTTERFLY IS PRETTY FREAKIN' AWESOME! - Demon Slayer #20

I was away yesterday and most of today, so I'm going to post my reactions and commentary to these 2 episodes back to back: It was too good to be true. When Tanjiro said "I won" my reaction was "Are you sure? I don't see the body disappearing..." The demon girl flashback brought up a question; how many demon slayers has the Rui/family killed? And if they have been a problem for longer why didn't the DS corps send out the best sooner? God damn Shinobu! So in order to be 'hashira' or pillar you need to be little bit crazy? (Or is it just anime thing in general where powerful people have few loose screws?) Also when you think about 'insects' butterflies are not the first thing that come to mind. But I'm not complaining, I hate the bugs that skitter around! Why is the demon boy still not evaporating?

I agree, that whole "family" was sadistic. I'm sure the mother wouldn't mind torturing Rui if she was the one with the power.

I’ll be honest, I really could not give less of a shit about the “familial” abuse going on here. The ladies in the family all liked to torture and kill humans as much as the males. Did you see how the bitch with the big boobs broke the demon slayers puppets bones while they were still alive and then twisted their necks when she was done with them? Then the little sister poisons and drinks her prey while they are still alive. Fuck that, they could get the abuse, they’re no better than the males.

I would say a constant theme of this is that everyone is who they are because of their cirmunstances. I doubt Rui would have been such a shithead if Muzan hadn’t made him into a demon. That pretty much applies to every demon in this show. Even Nezuko only turned out the way she did only because of Tanjiro being there.
