First rule of Berserk, if you are a woman and you are involved with the story in anyway. Someone is probably going to try and rape you. Whether or not they'll succeed depends on where Miura's trying to take the story. Sorry for the late comment, I was halfway through this reaction when my internet crapped out. I had to go to work and have only now finished the episode.

I will give an out of war example, during the "Wild West", some of the richest people in towns were the brothel madams, because many people spent everything they didnt need to survive in the brothel. I chose that over other examples, as those other examples are often dark, some darker than berserk.
