Giorno Giovanna is a really clever name for Araki to chose, it has the JoJo name sound and what's more is that the Italian language doesn't even have a J. So in Italy, GIO is just the equivelant of J while also having the GIO like DIO. Giorno also means morning in Italian which is cool. (By the way his stand Golden Wind is actually called Gold Experience like the great Prince album if you care.)

In this part the outfits get... "eccentric"... Fabulous? I love the designs honestly lol, also the stand name changes for this part are even worse than previous ones, like gold experience being gold wind, and Bruno's stand name being far more literal

I love how Bruno literally has an outfit reflecting his stand ability, it's even better than Kira's killer queen tie. Also all the locations you will see in this part are true locations, down to the length of the streets. Araki took several trips to Italy in order to carefully map all of this.

He is also 1/4 Jonathan since DIO took his body. He is both a Joestar and a Brando. He was also written as an anti-hero of sorts to reflect that (he stole Koichi’s bag after all). GioGio’s bizarre adventure is gonna be really fun!
