This actually might be my favourite of the earlier episodes. One of my favourite parts about Berserk is just watching the Band of the Hawk enact Griffith's plans.

Hey Curtis, Sean Schemmel the voice of Goku also does a number of side characters as well as a named chracter later on in the show! You heard him this episode as one of the guys who was complimenting Guts at the party. It's fun to try and listen for when Goku starts talking if you can.

Miura just did so well at showing what it took for guts to be accepted. He is joining a group of professional warriors, so showing that skillset is what it takes.

Yeah, they go through less story and less character development though, so they are not able to take the series place. But yeah, i totally agree that he needs to watch them.

@Curtis, make sure to check out the 3 berserk movies sometime in the future (doesn't need to be on the channel, just for your own enjoyment). They cover the same arc as this series but the action/battle scenes are just way better thanks to being made with modern tech and with movie budgets.
