IS EVERYTHING MOB'S GOT GONNA BE ENOUGH? - Mob Psycho 100 S2E12

As much as I am hyped for Mob to let loose, it's really concerning how insanely powerful Boss Daddy is!

I WATCH MOB PSYCHO 100 AT VRV:  https://vrv.co/series/GY190DKQR/Mob-Psycho-100

Yes! The beginning of my favorite fight in this series (again, anime only viewer here). I was just as hyped as you were, Curtis, when it started and just as eager to see the battle unfold too! Unfortunately, I had to wait a week, lol. I hated Boss Daddy too, beating up his own son like that, but when he started beating on Mob too, my blood began to boil just like when Teru did it. Teru's lucky he's so likable now. And he never touched our precious Reigen, so points in his favor. But yeah, I was super invested and now I can't wait to see you reaction to the last episode. Ugh! Monday GET HERE ALREADY! I never thought I'd be looking forward to the start of a week! XD

I agree on all points, My Friend! :-)

I love the parallel between Serizawa and Mob: Serizawa is what Mob could've become if he didn't have Ritsu and Reigan. Even Suzuki himself is a dark parallel of Reigan: a true con man, with all the power that Reigan *pretends* to have. The very thing he does to Serizawa is what Reigan did to Mob a few episodes ago: tries to keep him from growing independent in order to keep using him. This whole season is constructed so damn well, I just love it.

I love Serizawa so much because he's essentially just mob if he didn't have Reigan, and where Reigan now helps mob to grow and develop his independence, Suzuki just let Serizawa remain in his comfort zone. When his umbrella is destroyed, he's stepping out of his room really for the first time. Like, remember how haunted mob was at the idea of losing control, if he didn't have a guiding light in his life like Reigan, I could easily see him deciding to isolate himself to protect people.

Charlie Sims

Yup and it is worth remembering that the 100% is basically just that the emotion is so overpowering that he cannot control it anymore. It is basically just him losing control of himself because of some emotion.

Yeah, the setup to the real fight here is just so good. Including mob pulling the tower into the air, so he could fight at full power without destroying everything.

It's important to remember that mobs "explosion" doesn't necessarily mean he's about to try and hurt someone. It represents the level of his emotions and this can be any emotion or feeling. In Sarizawa's case it was 100% friendship. The anime doesn't explain it really but Mobs abilities are also affected by what emotion he's going through when he explodes.
