Turns out the whole show was a setup; Armin just got promoted from supporting character to protagonist. Eren’s determination and ultimate death was just Armin’s backstory. Heckin bamboozle.

I liked eren but this main character switcharoo is just done so well. Taking up his goal by the last person anyone would expect, and the internal monologuing and flashbacks are out of this world

Also, as the episode states, the Titans have very high body temperature. It's why the "Armored Titan" blew steam from it's mouth after breaking the inner gate in Ep2. and why the "Colossal Titan" had an explosion of steam when Eren cut it.

Man, I forgot just how gripped this show made me. The animation style is brilliant so often, the voices are perfect and dear god the music. AOT OST has to be one of my favourites, ranging from the heights of invigoration to downright depressing.

I’m telling you now by the time we catch up on this anime, Attack On Titan will be joining that prestige group of shows. I’m SO happy you don’t remember anything about this series plot.
