Imo, this was the best arc of the series. The rest is still good though and it's still ongoing.

I love Isabella as a parallel to Emma. She too tried to escape, but she was on her own and when faced with the obstacles before her was broken by it. Her advice to Emma was genuine and from her own experience: give up and become a mom, so that you can at least give these kids 12 years of happiness before they die. However Emma had Norman and Ray and all of the other kids and together they were able to succeed. I kind of view mom as a tragic character (though still psycho in her own right). Also, little Phil is the best and my absolute favorite little shit.

Leslie and Isabella were in love just like Norman and Emma 😭 And did you notice how Norman was about to confess his love to Emma when mom cut him off 😱 this show is killing the feels. And ray kills me everytime with his sad face "why did you give birth to me?"

First let me say that I didn't read the manga so I have no idea what's happening next but there's no way I think Norman is really dead. He is too much of a good character to have him die like this. If he really is dead I'll be very upset. His reaction before his ''death'' makes me think he might have found a way to escape or get away from dying somehow. At least I hope so. Fantastic reaction of this series Curtis! Thank you! I feel like I've been watching this show with a good friend (had never even heard of it before you started this reaction)

There was a really cool comment on one of these promised Neverland videos. "Everyone is a victim of the farms" and also, if you remember a few episodes back, Ray was talking about his crazy memory and that "his first memory was of him in dark liquid, with a lullaby singing softly in the background."

For some reason they omitted an important line from the manga during this scene. Isabella in the manga says she wishes she could've loved them normally. She really did care for the children but she believed escape was impossible as well.

Loved your reactions to this series! I also hope they make more! Watching this a second time was also great because you got to see what was happening in the background with the kids and also look at Ray and Mom's relationship in a different way!

Welp, I'd say add it back onto the list after, assassination classroom, demon slayer and trigun, season 2 will probably start in January like 1 so it'll be finished by March probably, just as you wrap up with those more or less
