It has some interesting moments but it's overall pretty meh, but the characters come back in at least 2 more fillers later, and something that happens in a canon episode a while from now references the main bad guy character here, and then the next canon part comes in on this island, at the very end of the filler, and it's very important....

When Dr. Kobato calls chopper "Mr. Raccoon dog" she Is actually calling him a tanuki which looks like a mix of a raccoon and a dog but it goes even deeper, in lore/mythology or whatever the right word is Tanuki can transform (I think it's when they put a leaf on there head but I'm not 100%) which kinda fits chopper as chopper can transform lol.
