These episodes confused me for one josuke can repair/heal in a moment yet he's holding Koichi instead of fixing him at the gate two you can only have one stand it was stated when polnereff created after images which he never did again and I'm pretty sure it was mentioned more times yet bad company has hundreds? And why couldn't the hand kill their dad again?

It doesn't excuse his actions, but losing his wife and going into financial ruin probably gave him a nervous breakdown, so it's understandable why he'd lose his way.
