His memory of being Kira are also gone, so in his mind he is effectively not Kira at thid point. He's not really lying or acting any more because he doesn't have anything to hide as far as he knows. And one can also note the difference between Kira Light and this Light since with the memories gone other things in his personality has also clearly changed
