(Patreon keeps getting rid of my comment so if it suddenly spams a dozen of the same thing apologies) So now that we're at this point, i asked a few people and we agreed to explain the devil fruits to you so you don't get confused as the names keep popping up. Specifically their types, One Piece tends to keep mentioning them but it never actually explains them. Basically there are 3 types of devil fruit, Zoan are transformational fruits, they give the person the ability to change into a different creature, have several forms and increase physical prowess (examples: Chopper, Pell..) Then you've got Logias, Logias are elemental fruits, they are basically natural elements, they are considered the strongest of the devil fruits, since they allow the user to completely transform their body into their personal element allowing them to dodge almost anything, give them crazy amounts of power, speed as well as control (examples Ace, Smoker, Eneru) . Finally there are the Paramecia (Paramythia in some subs), these fruits....well honestly these fruits are 'everything else'. If its not a natural element or a creature, its a Paramecia. They gain the properties of their fruit but while some Paramecia can change their body's shape, they can't totally transform into their element like Logias can. Some devil fruits, given their type, can have a natural weakness other than seawater. Like Eneru's is Rubber. You'll figure that out more on your own and some other things i can't mention due to spoilers. But thats the basic breakdown

Actually car is safe during thunderstorms because it forms Faraday cage, the amount of rubber between car and ground is nowhere near enough to stop the lightning (since it already goes from cloud to ground)

I'll never get tired of the "HA" faces (like the one Eneru/Enel made when his attacks didn't work) in One Piece. There's just something about them.

1. No. If you stricke rubber with lightning it will melt instantly. 2. WHY can he touch Eneru?! Last time I checked wearing rubber gloves doesn't give you the ability to bunch lightning. He should still pass through him like hes nothing. This is what I hate about One Piece, inconsistent powers. It's the same problem as the Crocodile fight.

Yeah, so Luffy is Enel's natural weakness. Kinda like how crocodile was weak to all liquids. So, luffy isn't affected by Enel's electric attacks and he can touch Enel's lightning body. He now has a major natural advantage against Enel, which is basically the only way he could ever hope to win.

Yeah as a science person I agree. Grounding is the opposite if anything of rubber. Rubber says no current please. Grounding says come here all the current, flow through me and me Only. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

Luffy (rubber) is 'non-conductive' not 'grounding'... if you tried using rubber as lighting rods it would not work 😂
