You realize naruto characters rely on hacks to beat higher characters not power. Its why itachi could take out quite a few espada from bleach despite the power gap. Also they are pervy yes but they are also chosen because both are hermits of a animal, both train the younger main hero, both die trying to save the world ect. They have more than 1 simular aspect.

2019-10-28 01:25:37 +0000 UTCSome of these pairings are very obvious and unbalanced, because too often do they match up characters for reasons like them both being pervy old men, where one is set in a world where the power structure is different, and so while Roshi gets to shoot lazers that can blow up the moon, Jiraiya is stuck at a more human power level with some cool tricks up his sleeve. Yes they both have fantastic powers, but the very world they live in sets their abilities apart by a wide margin, so this match was kinda doomed as the only real similarity is their pervyness. This is a match where the analysis, although cool, its also entirely unnecessary, as even a kid can do some basic math on that and say "yeah Roshi would win"
