Careful, reach to far and your arm will pop out. Oda is very creative with his allusions and there are far more concrete examples throughout the story that were not actually references. Thereβs no other indicator....is βsuuβ a Star Fox character?

But ill still be here watching with curtis and enjoying with the community. I think the show has slower points (im just finishing up my watchthrough around episde 780).

2019-08-10 16:44:27 +0000 UTCOk, so.... Smoker and Pagaya have same voice actor! π² They sound nothing alike!! Tells you about the guy's voice range/ability to do characters. (Granted Pagaya sounds like a 60s hippie 'Yo man, everything mellow' π and then there's Smoker...)

2019-08-10 15:45:41 +0000 UTCAlabasta showed me how great One Piece can do drama and get you involved in the very deep main plots Oda can create, and Skypiea showed me just how creative Oda can get with his world building and how uniquely expansive this world continues to get without it feeling forced or unnatural. Having these two arcs right next to each other are what got me truly hooked on One Piece and Skypiea to this day is my favorite One Piece arc.
