HOLY CRAP! EVERYONE & EVERYTHING IS CONVERGING! - One Piece #151

Everybody's already said everything, but yeah, tons of info in this episode about some major players in the One Piece story.

The problem isn't really Bellamy's devil fruit, if you think back to what Crocodile talked about. Experience using your devil fruit is key, Bellamy is one of these foolish rookies like Luffy but he's even further behind he's just been doing the same crap lol

At the beginning and/or end of most arcs there are usually a few episodes that give you behind the scenes workings and information dumps. You're probably not a notes guy, but if you ever should pay closer attention than usual, it's when One Piece flashes world events and anything away from Luffy and company.

From the bounty perspective Rockstar the new comer and the one who delivered the mail to Whitebeard had a bounty of 94 million. Whitebeard treated that guy as a joke and from Shanks crew perspective was nothing more then a rookie.

So much stuff got set up this episode, Whitebeard and Shanks meeting up, the Navy HQ needing to elect a new Warlord, the meeting of two other Warlords, Blackbeard finally getting revealed (bet you didn't see the pie guy being Blackbeard coming, the same guy Ace is after and the one who destroyed Wapols kingdom) and nominated for a Warlord (and his true motives coming into question) and of course Sky Islands question still in the air. Theres a lot coming, so you really have to keep a lot of things in mind at all times here

Bellamy getting one punched is always beautiful

This episode was the beginning for me of when One Piece really started to separate itself from other shows. Not just animes but stories of any kind in any era. You got the 5 Elder Stars, Blackbeard and his crew of 5 right on the tail of the Strawhats, Red Hair, Whitebeard, two more warlords with one having the ability to control people through some unknown method. Also the Holy Land of Marie Jois/Mary Joa. What is this Holy Land?!? Plus we still have to get to see if there is a sky island. Just so good.

Yea, but in fairness, it was only because all I could do was punch. My hand and foot speed were average at best... A couple times, though, I did hit guys with a single punch and took them out.

Yup... Luffy beat a warlord so maybe he's warlord level now or at least can take on warlords you might think. Then BAM! Next warlords introduced have 4 times Crocodiles bounty. And Luffy only beat Crocodile because he discovered his weakness, plus they fought where the terrain was bad for crocboy plus he actually won the first fight after Luffy discovered his weakness. So yeah... Oh boy

So, that certainly puts things in perspective huh? The two other warlords had bounties around 300 million. That certainly says something about where luffy and crocodile stood in the big picture, with their 100 million and 80 million bounties.
