But once Bellamy mentioned how people that dream are idiots in the "new era", Luffy realized that he wasn't worth it. Just some guy who doesn't even have a dream/goal. It would have been an empty fight. That's also what the pie guy was referring to. Just not worth it. Just an explanation for some people who seem pissed because they didn't fight back.
