This one is definitely on my favourites list. It's one of those shows that you'd have to go back and rewatch to get all of the witty dialogue. It's like if Issei from High School DxD was suddenly turned into two chicks.

I can bring it up a little, but what you pointed out is exactly the reason the show volume is lower... I have always done everything I can to ensure that people watch the show before my reaction. That's been my concern from the start of doing reaction vids. My voice is overpowering because when both the show and I are speaking, my voice will be heard and theirs overpowered... That is one of the best methods for ensuring that people already know the content I'm watching.

The "realistc" shots of the bad guys blowing up should be realistic. As it's an actual shot of them blowing up a clay figure. Hoping this is some cool info for the future

Curtis, if you would turn up the anime volume just a bit on dubbed shows, that would be great. It's not a problem with subbed shows, there being subtitles and all, but it can be a bit tough at times to hear what's being said. Especially if you're saying something at the same time.

So the backstory of PSG is that the team that made Gurren Lagann went on vacation to Hawaii after Gurren Lagann finished. While there they of course drank a lot, and while drunk they came up with the idea for Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. See, some new laws were set to go into action regarding anime that weren't terribly popular with them, so PSG was basically a giant middle finger to those laws. They crammed in as much violence, sexual humor, etc as they could. In fact, the story goes that the ideas they came up with while suuuuper drunk made it into the final show almost entirely. Then, when the english dub was licensed, they gave the dubbing company the go-ahead to crank the vulgarity to 11. The animation style was based largely on western cartoons like the Powerpuff Girls (among others if memory serves), and they style of humor was inspired by western adult cartoons like Drawn Together.

I plan to finish it but if it gets a bad response from the goosh I’ll drop it and change to something else but I highly doubt that

The writing and definitely the animation leans more to western animation. I feel it's more of a parody of cartoons, especially 90s action cartoons. Really good show.

Yes Garter Belt is the priest guy. Also, you said you liked Panty more but Im willing to bet that Stocking will win you over before long. Among many other reasons (for instance her being a hardcore bondage freak) the main one would be, SHE LIKES GROSS UGLY CREEPS!
