I know your talk about how you have a disabled daughter and your mother in the house and that you need to be able to hear when things happen. Bone induction headphones pretty much do the ears's job of turning vibrations into sound your brain can register, basically it lets you listen to something while the rest of what's going on is just as hearable as the thing you are listening to.

I think that would look much more presentable/how people are used to it just so it's not a blank red logo of the link on here
