Blueford (originally Bruford) - after the former drummer of the band "Yes" Bill Bruford. 10. Doobie the dio's snake minion - Doobie Brothers. 11. Erina Pendleton's name is suspected to be based on The Beatles' song Eleanor Rigby. 12. The 4 vampires that got killed by Straits at Dio's mansion with the chandelier called themselves Page, Jones, Plant and Bornnam (forgot what it was censored to in your subs) - after the 4 Led Zeppeling members Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Robert Plant, and Jon Bonham. 13. The ending song is Roudabout from the 60s band "Yes" and our man Bruford. 14. Father Styx on the ship at the end - the band Styx. And in this part 1. Smokey Brown - after Smokey Robinson and James Brown. 2. Santviento (even though the clearly say Santana) - after the 60s band Santana. 3. Donobang (originally Donovan) - after the scottish musician Donovan. remind me if I forgot someone :D

It's not Donobang. The japanese audio said Donovan but the english subs said something differant for copyright reasons.

If you look at Joseph at the end of the episode you can see his Joestar birthmark on his neck which did not appear in the manga until later on.

Your subtitles are a bit off, the nazi soldier with a knife was named Donovan (after the singer Donovan) and the Pillar Man is named Santana (after the Santana band and the Santa-Ana winds) .

huh, they changed all the names for some reason, those aren't the real names for a lot of the characters, donobang is donovan and Santviento is Santana, they used the dubs changes for some reason

Similarly Donobang, the Nazi assassin's real name is Donovan. It's best to try and listen to what the characters say instead of the subtitles.
