if you didn't notice the "city of gold "is based on the aztecs an other central and south american civilization, the pyramids and symbols, etc are drawn almost like the aztecs, even the idea of a " city of gold" saying is a real thing, ever one was looking for aztec gold in our own world ( thats why the spanish came to the amercians) . Oda's storys are all based on real events and things that happend in our history he just adds a twist to it , but almost everthing in his story telling happend in the real world, he just makes a twist like instead of this it was fishman, instead of nazi, there was .. and etc you get the point. But if you focus on the point of whats going on, in the story you can be like well damn that actually happen in real life. Keep watching OP is a long anime and it just gets more deeper, crazy, sad , F up you just at the tip, this show will make you cry and question life sometimes,

The thing that gets me about Zoro's scenes is the fact that the South Bird's head always faces south. He basically has a compass walking with him and he'll still end up lost somehow lol
