GOOSHER 100 VID from TCE - My History and Adventures With Hypnosis!

Typically, the more often a person is hypnotized, the easier it gets. This is just because all a hypnotist really does is help the subject find their way into that state of focused relaxation. Like any other journey, the more often you take it, the mor familiar you get with the path. :-)

Great Video very interesting

Would u be willing to list what topics your highly interested in? After I am done moving... I should have the $ to up my level here & would like to consider the change.

Any tips for self hypnosis? As in have you ever made a pre recorded hypnosis for yourself? What should be in such a recording to put u under safe & take you out safe. Have you ever met someone resistant to your hypnosis or easy to hypnotize? Any hints on how to be more or less resistant to it?

Another part of ADHD is that the front part of the brain is weak compared to normal & the back of the brain stronger then normal. The back of the brain is the subconscious mind & long term memory & the front is short term memory. That is why I have a hard time focusing but there are ways to train your mind to remember better. Using long term memory. Autistic savant is the development of the brain focused on one part being over developed, (in a way). Hypnosis has been a big help to my memory & now I understand a bit more about why. Thanks for filling in the gaps

Any way I could download this video. I really like the information & the wording you use.

Have you ever looked into brainwave entrainment sound? It is my fascination & I started interested in it because of hypnosis. Yet I don't read as much about hypnosis now as I do entrainment.

I have seen hypnosis & had hypnotherapy. I even met marshall sylver once, in my fascination with hyp. Yet now I think of myself as hard to fully hypnotize.

Hyper focus you say. I have never had anyone explain it like that. I have ADHD & hyper focus is a part of that. In such that I will focus on everything & be very distracted, not able to pick one or Hyper focus on one thing so much that I let nothing else in. On top of this they say I have split personality. Some say that ADHD is less resistant & easy to hypnotize, & I am also submissive in my personality, & that is also part of why I developed a split personality as my minds way of coping so

Great question!... Let’s say that person actually did have a secret, guilty desire to stab the person next to him. Then that suggestion might give him a moment’s pause. However, the important thing is, under hypnosis, you are still aware of your surroundings. So, this person would know there would be a lot of witnesses to his act, so the conscious mind would stop him based on that... Basically, the conscious mind would still take all circumstances into consideration and make a call the same as if he weren’t hypnotized. 😊

This was different and interesting. I wouldn't mind hearing more on the subject. That said ,quick question. You said the conscience mind is alert in the background so it will prohibit the person from , in your example, stabbing a guy. How does hidden desire or guilt factor in? If a person has a hidden desire to do an act that is asked of him or if he has done an act already that weighs heavy on his conscience. Would that cause a problem? Or would the conscious mind still act in the alert of a normally uncomfortable question?

Yea, it was SO gratifying for me when universities started taking up the study of hypnosis. I knew it worked, but I couldn't fully understand why. Now, with their research in the books, it's made hypnosis even more fascinating to me. :-)

LOL! At the end of my shows, I typically leave those who were hypnotized with a final post-hypnotic suggestion that I have stay with them until they leave the room. It's usually something like what you described, with a keyword prompting a silly reaction. Those are always fun. :-)

All suggestions are dependent upon the subjects own morals, values, etc., but something like what you're describing pretty much everyone would be down for. Silly things like that are typically of no concern to the conscious mind, so the subconscious is allowed to go wild with them. :-)

"The Magician Who Cried sounds like the title of either a children's book or a pretentious Italian movie." -- LOL! I love that! Well put! :-D

Thanky Curtis, I had always belived hypnosis was this pseudo-science somewhat grounded in reality. The way you explained it and told stories helped me understand what it is exactly and made me realise it is as real as other sciences. If you ever want to talk more about it I'm game it's very interesting to me. Oh yeah If you want to hypnotize me to join in the world conquest im totally down just don't make me forget the number 4.

When I graduated HS and went on project graduation one of the things we did was go to see a "mentalist" and he hypnotized several of our classmates. Now, I think like 24 people went up but only 8 people were able to stay up as the others weren't able to be hypnotized. He had one guy believe that his shirt was on backwards anytime he said a certain word. Everytime he said that word the guy would look down at his shirt, sometimes backwards sometimes not, and then look around to make sure no one would see him and turn his shirt around. The most hilarious part was he had a girl say cockadoodle doo at a key word. She would say it like it was just a normal thing while in the hypnotic state. After all was said and done and everyone was taken out of the hypnotic state and went back to their seats, we were getting up to leave and he said the word one last time and she just randomly stood up and said cockadoodle doo and looked around like why the fuck did I just do that lmao.

Can you make someone believe they are an animal who's long extinct, like a Sabertooth tiger or would your conscious logic come to the forefront? Maybe it's the type of thing where your conscious mind wouldn't care or does it depend on who it is?

This is my kinda content! Thanks for doing this so promptly. I was especially interested in the anecdote about your son's friend, and the role the conscious mind plays when you're induced. I always knew that movie hypnosis - where a magic word can turn a man into a murderer - was bunk, but never knew why. And damn, sounds like you've worked with some oddballs (the good kind) in your life. Random thought, but The Magician Who Cried sounds like the title of either a children's book or a pretentious Italian movie.

Good question... The things I can make people believe while under hypnosis are typically silly or not harmful to a person's sensibilities. For instance, changing someone's name: I'm able to do that because it's a kind of silly notion that the conscious mind really doesn't care if the subconscious mind accepts. On the other hand, if I asked a married guy if he ever cheated on his wife - even if he had - the immediate answer would be "no". That's because, as soon as the conscious mind, which was sitting in the background, heard that question, all kinds of bells, whistles and sirens would have went off and the conscious mind would have immediately taken over... So, no, you won't give away anything important to you or share anything that your sensibilities wouldn't normally allow you to share... I hope I explained that well. :-)

You talked about how you can make people believe lies when they are under hypnosis. My question is: Can you make people tell the truth, both comfortable and uncomfortable, about certain matters when they are under hypnosis? If I'm ever under hypnosis I don't want to answer uncomfortable questions.
