SPIDER LEGS CERTAINLY SEEMS COMPLETELY UNSTOPPABLE! - Yu Yu Hakusho #90

Yeah it’s just gut wrenching. You can hear the pain in his voice when he says it. Great voice acting. Part of the reason why I like this episode is they really just let you soak in Yusuke’s death. As hopeless as it looks, you have to feel some pride for Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara. Their resolve to not give up almost makes you well up.

They are fighting in Demon world.

Next episode is the best! 😭😭

I love this episode even though it very grim, mostly because of how they react especially Hiei. Remember this is human hating Hiei the same guy at the very beginning how the show try to enslave human and almost turn Keiko into a demon. Now that Yusuke a human died his powered up to avenge him. Its like I said before it feels like Yusuke and Hiei of the course of the show because best friend and here him show "here is a one way trip to hell you bastard!" with such angry and lost really got to me the first time I watch it since Hiei always seem to not really care so much about the others.

They are in a world between worlds. Not other world, not demons world, not earth, a world where the dead go first to pass on to what ever waits for them. I wonder if the story will use that. I only have some eps of this on DVD, not all of the show.

I love that everyone just attacks Sensui right out the gate with their most powerful attack’s/forms. None of the usual starting slow and working your way up to 100% bullshit. It’s so heartbreaking seeing their anguish as they try so desperately to avenge Yusuke’s death.

I have to confess something. I always hated the look of Sensui's battle armour. It's just so stupid looking. He looks like a rejected villain from a Power Rangers episode.

SPOILER - DON'T READ CURTIS! Right, which is why I believe they actually could have won this fight if they properly worked together. If Hiei distracted Sensui, while Kurama made an opening for Kuwabara, they would have won.

An interesting thing to note about this fight between our trio and Sensui is that if you pay attention to how Sensui moves, he typically blocks Kurama's and Hie's attacks and then counterattacks with some fancy move. However, when Kuwabara uses his new dimension sword, Sensui makes sure to dodge it without any fancy counterattacks. Thats because Kuwabara's new sword is one of the strongest techniques in this show, and can actually hurt Sensui real bad. Mainly because you can't really block it since it cuts actual dimensions. Thats why it can be considered a high S-rank technique.
