Possible in the real world? It is impossible to climb a 5000m tall mountain, during a snowstorm, without any equipment, without resting, whilst carrying 2 people.

Even more, what he had to do is so understandable, because it IS physically possible in the real world. Only, 99% of people wouldn't make that climb or withstand the pain, and Luffy does it without a second thought. In my opinion, this is one of the most important episodes in One Piece, just because of that scene.
