Zuko has a lot of ups and downs. Keep in mind that a big part of this is that he's still a teenager. It makes his character a lot more understandable when you remember that.

The reply button seems to have disappeared so I guess new comment time. I won’t comment to much on the comic. Not because it isn’t canon. It is. But I don’t want to spoil. So I’ll just say. My interpretation of the events were different then yours. I’ll give Bumi the edge in creativity and experience, but still not in power. And since Curtis is a few ahead I have no qualms saying... she’s 12. So, If I were to concede that she barely loses this year (which I’m not) then she’ll win for sure at 13. Which is a bit unrealistic so young but so is Bumi still being in such great shape at 112 so I’ll give it a pass.

Still the most powerful most likely. The comics basically confirm this and power scaling wise he has bigger feats, more creative use of earthbending styles, and over 100 years of experience with his body not really losing muscle despite the age.
