Just want to point out an entirely hilarous YGOTAS joke in this episode. Yusuke says it looks like a Graveyard,and Kuwabara's immediate response is "Gee, Why-" Entirely unrelated, but that made me laugh way more then it should've.

I agree with you! Kuwabara should have won that fight by the same reason why Kurama lost earlier. There definitely was enought time to count to 10 before elder Toguro rose back up!

It's never really adequately explained exactly what Elder Toguro's deal is regarding where his abilities come from. Like he said, he doesn't really know himself. I have a hard time thinking that he was always like that, since Younger Toguro was a normal human at first. Maybe being exposed to such potent demon energy for so long had some sort of effect on him? Without spoiling anything, this kind of spill-over is referenced later on as being a possibility.
