Wish I could take credit for getting you to watch this but by the time I came along I believe the order of these shows had been set but best believe I would've voted for yuyu hakusho one of my favorite protagonists in any media form in yusuke and one of the best crews of all time with the boys hiei kurama kuwabara genkai aka grannygilf and even botan koenma and the rest

Fun Fact: Koenma is disguised as Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon. It's a fun fact because it creator, Yoshihiro Togashi, married the creator of Sailor Moon. On another note, seeing that this series will end soon, next Monday if I'm counting right, I would like to recommend two thing. The first would be SuperEyePatchWolf's video on Why You Should Watch Yu Yu Hakusho, similar to other things you've watched like Swagkage or SeththeProgrammer (but better). The second is Lanipator's very old Abridged of Yu Yu Hakusho. Before Lanipator joined/created TeamFourStar he had his own abridged series. Has all of it aged well? ... No. But parts of it are still funny, and he even did the movie, but he didn't finish the series so he could focus on DBZA. I know I'm a low-tier patron; however, if there is any consolation, I became a patron because you were watching Yu Yu.

Fun fact: Togashi, the guy who made YYH (and Hxh) is carried to the woman who created Sailor Moon, and Koenma's disguise here is a takeoff of Moon's Tuxedo Mask.

Honestly Shura was such a waste of a character. They were building him up and then the one to fight and beat him is his father.

Shura is like his father yomi when he was younger, so Yomi wanted to teach Shura the importance of patience and knowing when to given, so that he doesn't end up blinded like he was. he wants to teach his son the lessons that he learnt the hard way in his youth, he actually acts like a good father to Shura, just a demon father.
