I remember reading on a wiki that the difference between a high s-class and a low s-class is greater than the difference between an E-class and a low s-class. So, for example, Sensui barely managed to scrape into s-class because of his sacred energy. This was unheard of, because practically no human on Earth could ever hope to reach those levels. However, Sensui would still be demolished by an elite S-class like the 3 kings. Their power gap is just too wide to even really be considered just one class.
