LAST AIRBENDER QUESTION

I am still learning Japanese so I don't mind if this means it will not be English voices as long as there are sub titles

I would need to see one to understand if they are needed. I have seen alot of avatar air bender & earth & water, I may have missed bits of the fire part, so a bit of a recap would be interesting to me

Well in some cases those bubbles can contain spoilers. But it looks like he resolved the issue now.

Yeah im more of a purist (filthy mushrooms!) and tend to define anime the same way mainly if it's produced in Japan or by a Japanese studio and also because there are some good American made animated series out there and they should be recognized as such like the Batman and Superman animated series

Ok, Curtis lets get something straight. The correct terminology for The Last Air bender is not "Anime". Anime is the terminology for Japanese Cartoons which would require the said cartoon to come from Japan. The Last Air bender however does not come from Japan as its an american product (though i hear alot of its animation comes from South Korea). While the terminology ultimately doesn't matter i think it should be important to keep Curtis well informed and not give him false information to go on. So just to conclude i'll be alright if Curtis calls it an anime so long as he knows for a fact it wasn't made in Japan.

Honestly I probably will find them distracting. Prefer with no bubbles. But no big deal either way.

it does have a great story and fun characters in a way its like hunterxhunter and my hero academias had time traveled back and used fusion to become the series presented to us ofcourse i might get a little heat because the other 2 worlds have their own rich lore and style

100% it's also a show that focuses on friends/family, honour, justice but also has a 'silly' comedy that would be fun to watch with Curtis. I love OP but there's always a few bad apples in every fanbase

Okay, just figured it out... You guys were right; there were two options available for purchase at Amazon. I didn't notice the (extras) designation on the one I bought. So, they got me for an EXTRA 30 bucks because I'd really rather watch without the potential for spoilers... Episode 1 did have some spoilerish stuff in it, so it's my own fault that I wasn't paying close enough attention... Episode 1 will be the only one in Standard Definition, as well as the only one with the info bubbles. :-)

Ok i can explain the popups. They were a tv special thing that i didnt even know they had available still. The popups have various facts on the creation of the series/character information/ plot details/ etc. Its been years since ive seen them but they might have spoilers so if possible i dont recommend continuing with this version

Yeah Amazon has 2 versions, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: The Last Airbender (Extras) Might just have to deal with it for season 1 unless you purchased all the seasons already

Their are two versions im pretty sure on amazon or its a option and the only way to see it otherwise is use a illegal site or use the blurays / DVDs like some other reactors

The series is also for sale on YouTube, but honestly I dont mind popups or slights distractions, it's all about if you feel distracted or bothered by them, otherwise I'm fine with them. But we'll see how everyone else feels

Honestly I'm not sure what that is. I don't remember information bubbles from when I watched the show. That might be some kind of after series add on? Either way you don't need informational pop ups the show tells you everything you need to know
