I’d still like to see the full 6 episode golden boy dub reaction. 😂 like out of the 300 series I’ve seen, still the funniest anime I’ve ever seen. Could finish it in a week and select the follow up anime right afterwards.

Yeah lol the fanbase here is pretty circlejerky about the big 3 and other generic shonen - MAL ratings don't really factor in, popularity is more important but that's the case with nearly all reactors. People out here claiming One Piece is the best anime of all time lmao.

you should also watch Eyeshield 1 I dont like sports so i didnt watch sports anime but I watched Those two at the same time and theyre both great but to be fair being an anime can make any sport epic even cycling

Hajime is life changing it amazes me that people don't watch it just because it's a sports anime or boxing anime. I don't like sports anime Hajime is the only one Ive watched and it's a contender for top spot along with hunter x hunter it's that good.

Something I find interesting is what type of group we actually have gathered here because I think a lot of these results might not mesh all that well with what the general populace thinks? Shows that dont get a lot of love here are the highest rated anime of all time, meanwhile a lot of smaller shows have a really solid backing. Jojo and Avatar might not be the best examples though since Jojo is a meme and Avatar is what a lot of western later too be anime fans grew up on Example: Steins Gate is actually higher rated than HxH on MAL. With more votes. But here🤔 Code Geass and Clannad are also higher rated than anything else on the voting list

Honestly, I think it's a good idea. Code Geass would probably win eventually, but some lesser know anime would never win over the flood of more popular stuff. I know with 100% certainty that Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt is a perfect series for you and only 13 episodes long. I would much rather see stuff like that get put on the $1 list and wait forever to see it than never see it at all.

Since there are so many series that are within 3% of one another, I think it would be interesting to have another vote WITHOUT JoJo's or Avatar. That way we see how close they really are to one another (without half the votes going to two properties)

Also to clarify on Fate zero, to people who say it's confusing. That just shows what you got from it, don't it fellas? It's perfectly contained and coherent with no need for outside knowledge, go out and search on youtube there's plenty of channels who've done fate zero reactions knowing nothing and they got everything by the end perfectly fine, so maybe that confusion is just on your part eh?

Zero was made specifically to be watched first, and it explains what it needs to explain and sets up the story of UBW, ufotable's UBW was meant to be watched after Zero as it was produced later and it directly spoils Zero too, while Zero doesn't spoil UBW. it's better to go into Zero not knowing how it ends from watching UBW innit? the things you think he will miss in it are unnecessary details for diehard type moon fans that no one would get just from watching the anime version of either of them anyway.

i would classify avatar as an "american" anime, but its still an amazing story with amazing characters so im glad it might be the one.

When it comes to the Fate Series I cannot stress enough how much of a bad idea it would be to watch Fate/Zero first. It’s nature as a prequel means Curtis would miss a lot of cool stuff that he would have already pick up if he watched one of the previous ones. Plus it’s ending (and I’m not spoiling anything specific) is very, very depressing. With one upside which he wouldn’t get unless he watched one of the previous anime. Personally I suggest Unlimited Blade Work.

I don't want to give the wrong impression: The poll winner will most definitely be honored. I'm just talking about what will be coming up at the $1 level once we catch up on the series that are already planned there.

Curtis I think the poll pretty much speaks for itself as Avatar and JoJo being the thing the large majority of people want the most. All of the shows on the list are actually really good and the people who are trash talking those are mostly loud minority sore that they're vote isn't what everyone else wanted. So they're kinda overcompensating this by barking the loudest and taking things way too personally. I know you want to make everyone happy but I wouldn't feed into this. They got their vote and it didn't win. I think we should honor the poll but at the end of the day it's whatever you wanna do man. That's why I enjoy watching your vids. So umm... thanks for putting up with us Curtis! lol ^^

What exactly counts as the feedback you get from us? Cause atm idk, it feels like this takes away from the overall choice a bit but also gives series that constantly get into polls but never rack up the votes (like code geass, seven deadly sins, steins gate ect) a chance. Im 50/50 on it myself

Well... Not really. Zero is a prequal, Fate Fate Fate UBW and Fate HF are all equally canon. All other Fate works are also Fate works, these are just Fate Stay Night part of the franchise. It is complicated, but you dont have to make it all that complicated, just watching Zero and UBW would be fine

The thing about the fate series is that it’s super complicated and if you want context for it you have read Books and watch many anime. I really don’t see it as a possibility. Otherwise, this sounds like a great plan.
