One piece explores a lot of difficult themes like racism, poverty, class, corruption in the government . Later on you get to see the fishmen’s POV and it becomes a lot easier to understand what they are doing, although arlong’s group is an extremist group. One piece may be goofy and fun, but its REAL, like some big statements are made in the show.
