I did vote JoJo, just as I believe it should win on the basis of the reactions entertainment value from curtis and I've never been able to get into Avatar but man Ippo and Trigun are damn good but I don't think Curtis would be as gravitated to Vash as we are so Trigun probably is a really low priortity watch for Curtis which is an SUBER shame but I think hajime no Ippo would resonate so well with him and would make for a good reaction, y'know in retrospect I think we all need to calm down put down our pitch forks on both the Avatar and JoJo sides and y'know what? honestly I've seen more people raging about Avatar because it's not an anime lol, I think most people don't have an issue with Jojo as a series, the issue comes down to its fanbase coming across as extremely obnoxious, if jojo wins I don't have an issue with that, I've seen the first 2 series in the manga and it was decent, but its fanbase reminds me a lot of the rick and morty fanbase

Oh yes! The diversity and accuracy of the film actors was so perfect when thinking about the show. Cramming 20 episodes into a 90-minute film was a fantastic idea!

Okay right now I’m just gonna speak for the entire avatar fan base. Instead of watching the actual show, watch the live action movie. We as a fan base hold that much higher then the cartoon as it cuts out the filler and is an all around cinematic masterpiece.

It's just because it originally aired on Nickelodeon, but, I mean, it's not like they had many choices in America. Besides, it's very comparable to One Piece, which Curtis seems to be loving. One Piece is admittedly a little more direct about mature concepts, like death, but the general layout of the series similar.

Weird idea going around that Avatar is only for kids. It certainly appeals to kids but saying it can't also be enjoyed by adults (especially people like Curtis who enjoy good storytelling) is as absurd as the common belief in the early 20th century that fantasy and sci-fi were themselves only for children, which Tolkien himself wrote an entire essay to disprove.

JoJos' actually had the fastest start of any anime I've ever seen. Those first 3 episodes were so ridiculous and crazy but in a good way, I really thought I had found my new favorite anime but that's why the rest of the season was such a drag, the pace dropped off so much.

C'mon, Code Geass. Jojo, though good, is WAY too long (120+) and isn't complete, and Avatar, though again good, isn't really an anime. Anime-inspired, maybe, but not anime. Code Geass is 50 episodes, and one of the most commercially and critically acclaimed anime shows of all time. No joke!

OK guys. Please let Avatar win. It's a top class show and it's not very long either. So, even if you don't like it, it's not like it will be there long. It's right up there with FMAB in quality. No joke. It's like a less good, but much more concise One Piece.
