2019-04-09 01:32:38 +0000 UTCin learning to read japanese I find often one symbol is not translated to one letter but rather to one sound or one word, alot of them would translate to 3 letters or more. not that I can read alot but I am learning based on having both English sub & japanese sub for the shows I view outside of patreon & youtube

They sort of act as a foil (a contrast) to Rin and Daikichi's relationship. By learning more about them you subsequently learn more about Daikichi and Rin.
