MY WIFE SENDS HER THANKS!
Added 2019-04-04 22:06:22 +0000 UTCI passed along your well-wishes and condolences to my wife, with the passing of her mom. She wanted me to let you know that she sincerely and genuinely appreciates it. She told me to let you all know that, when all is settled again, she is most definitely going to watch "Shrek Is Love, Shrek Is Life", as she appreciates you guys.
She has no idea what it's about, so she said she won't guarantee she won't puke or something, but she will watch. :-)
Of course, I talk about The GOOSH in general, and you guys in specific, all the time. This led to me, once again, getting blamed for being a creeper. The conversation was:
MY WIFE: They really seem like a good bunch of kids! (Mind you, anyone under 40 to us are "kids.") :-D
ME: They are!
MY WIFE: I feel bad that you are such a bad influence on them.
ME: What's that supposed to mean?! I'm not a bad influence!
MY WIFE: Of course you are. You think gross and violent things are funny, your sense of humor is bizarre, you say and do strange things...
ME: Wait a second! Can I remind you that it was THEM who showed me the Goosh man video, not the other way around!
MY WIFE: Yea, because they probably thought a normal person would be disgusted by it and it was supposed to be a prank! They didn't imagine anyone is messed up enough to think it was fun and hilarious!
I shut up after that... She kinda got me there.

It is dedicated for those who have passed on. The music video they made shows respect for those in service over seas and to give testimony to how well they display their skill, is the fact that my Old School Christian Grandfather loves this song that is done by a Metal Band.

Even when doing standup, I was always a tough fit in finding an audience because my sense of humor is so different and kinda disturbing to some... This is like Nirvana to me, having found a community of people who actually share my sense of humor! :-)

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that, even though he's 2 1/2 years older than my daughter, our son-in-law just turned 40... The first member of our kids' generation of friends and immediate family to hit that mark! :-D
