And at this point, I can recommend Lanipators' early abridgement work of Yu Yu Hakusho. This was before he made TeamFourStar and which is still funny today. He does cover one movie, but I don't know a fan of the show who likes the movie, and he does it justice.

I think part of the reason Hiei doesn't tell Yukina is this. He's a criminal who's done many terrible things. (At the beginning of the series he's honestly not much different from the Toguro brothers). Whereas his sister is an incredibly gentle soul. I guess he thinks that his sister knowing the path her brother has gone down would just cause her more grief. And she's suffered enough. Also the wedding's gonna be awkward since Hiei and Kuwabara hate each other.

Controversial opinion: I think Yu Yu Hakusho has some of the best written female characters of any shounen anime. Yukina influences the plot more by being a restraint on Hiei, an inspiration for Kuwabara, and a bridge between human and demon relations than Sakura ever did attempting to fight on the front-lines in Naruto. You don't have to be a fighter to be a good character.

Now that you're this far it'd be a good time to recommend Yuyu Hakusho abridged. 2nd to YGOTAS it's probably the oldest abridged series. This is as far as they made it because the creator went on to become one of the founders of TeamFourStar in which he voices Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, etc.
