thous episodes and fights are just a worm up, this anime is going to get much better a little bit later down the line (ESPECIALY THE STORY) also don't know if some1 mentionied this or not, but that is not actualy a "nazi sign" the nazi STOLE IT, it's actualy (as far as i know) a budist sign signifaing victory, i think it also has some aperances in egypt, signifaing protection, but nonetheless i think it is important for people to know that that symbol does not = nazi

Same with me. People who haven’t watched or read too many stories recently may not put it together but it is extremely rare in storytelling to put the main character up against the “big bad” before the “finals”. It’s likely that if the main villain isn’t blatantly obvious or or is hiding, he’s likely the least imposing person around. Those are two things I’ve learned after years of shounen and reading novels. Looking back it’s so obvious so I’m always scared people will figure it out too soon.

Not only did Yusuke have to fight two opponents in one day. They were right after one another with no other fights in between. If it wasn't for bad luck (i.e. slipping and falling in that mudhole) he'd have no luck at all.

You can't blame him for being cocky he was winning the fight. also their is no such as not fair here,their are no rules.

Been saving a couple pics just for this episode. If Genkai's cigarette seemed a little too convenient, it was actually because of a little bit of censorship. Let me first say that what swastika face did was entirely fair, as he had to do all the training to get there, he had pretty clearly trained for years to get those abilities. Now the way yusuke beat him was also fair, as it showed that he had a hole in his training and thought. He wasn't ready for someone effectively turning it against him. But i will say that swastika face clearly has more reason to be cocky in general than yusuke does. Remember that yusuke is a cocky asshole because he is the strongest person at his local school and because he got a new job. A job that he is clearly not thought to be competent at. While his two enemies here have spent a good deal of their lives training specifically for this and are serious heavy hitters on the world stage (as can be seen by them going to train under the worlds greatest spiritual guru)

Interestingly Hanzo, the ninja from HxH that broke Gon's arm was inspired by this guy.

This episode taught me to notice the little shots and moments in anime (and storytelling as a whole) that seem inconsequential but comes back in a big way later. YYH taught me HOW to watch anime.
