Speaking of Yu Yu Hakusho being a precursor to HxH its cool seeing how similar some of the abilities are. Yusuke's spirit gun is like an emitter technique, Kuwabara's sword is similar to transmutation and helmet guy's thing is even called enchantment.

I don't know have you noticed or not, Kuwahara's spirited sword was similar to the way of Nen users that posses Conjurer and Transmuter two in one. And the Spirited Gun of Yusuke was similar to the Emitter's Nen. And Hiei's lightning ability was just like Kakashi's Raikiri (Lightning Blade) copy to use on Naruto's story.

Fun fact about the Swastika, it's actually an Asian symbol for divinity and was used by western nations as a symbol of prosperity and good luck. Then the Nazi's took it as their own symbol and ruined it for everyone. It's like if terrorists started using the McDonald logo.
