I FEEL BAD FOR USOPP… HE’S GOT SOME FIGHTING FRIENDS NOW, THOUGH! - One Piece #11

I really feel bad for Usopp. He may have brought it upon himself with his exaggerations, but I still feel for him... Of course, these new very fighting capable friends he has might be able to help him square things a bit.

I didn't know that, sounds definitely like something ussop would do 😂

I’ve been trying to keep track with who is a first time watcher and who isn’t. Is this you first time seeing one piece Dragon?

SilversLyfe

These early episodes and fights are really cool. Of course they fade in comparison to what is to come and animation quality that keeps getting better as the years and series goes by... but it just tells how good this series is right from the start!

Fun fact. Uso in japanese means lies, so lieing is literally in the name of ussop.

Gigamac24

Ussop is one of my favorites because of how much character development he gets from the beginning. His Japanese voice actor is a big fan of the manga and is always coming into the recording sessions and telling the actress who plays Luffy spoilers from the manga.

Richie Roberts

Yeah Usopp might be a great liar, but like you can see he's just a big teddy bear lol

:-)

That's cool!

You mean fables. And yes its based on Aesops fables.

Jojoekage

Ya may be exagerating on that one cheif

Mighty Snake

One Piece has no character which you can't love. Cause of their pasts!^^

5:15 this is the first time ive noticed luffy wears a belt

Usopp is the imbodiment of folk lies. As someone said in an earlier comment his name comes part from aes”ops” fables. A couple of his lies are exact quotes from famous liars or fibs. Even his nose is in reference to Pinocchio. In fact, and I’m sure most people picked up on this, he was introduced as the boy who cried wolf. Don’t tell too many lies kids or when things really go down, no one will believe a word you have to say

SilversLyfe

The tale of the boy who cried Pirate. This feels like one of those cautionary tales where the moral is not to lie, or else it'll get everyone around you hurt or killed. Luckily, Usopp met Luffy, who punches caution to the wind

Day 10 of my oath: I a 21 year old man do solemnly swear to mention how many episode we are away from catching up to one piece on every single episode that Curtis reacts to and I do not care how long that takes. And on that note: We are 864 episodes away from catching up. P.S honestly I feel that Usopp is probably the most relatable character in the crew he isn't monstrously strong like the luffy and zoro nor is he a skilled navigator like nami, it's like a human stuck in a monstors world

LordNoLife

Keep an eye on Usopp's lies, there's a running theory that some, if not all, of his lies wind up the truth at some point lol
