So Curtis how does this series compare to HxH so far? Can't wait til the entire cast is revealed. Togashi seems to love writing groups of 4. HxH, yu yu, and his unreleased first series. Fun fact, before yu yu and HxH, Togashi wanted to write a unique sports manga about 4 characters who were all cross dressers and gay. But the editor said no.

Having read the Manga I know that Kurama is on the up and up. But for some reason the Anime did a great job of making me suspicious of him. If I was watching this for the first time I probably would've reached the same conclusion as you Curtis. I mean not only is he a Demon, he's also a thief. Not exactly the greatest circumstances to build trust on.

Nope you’re wrong. First off, this copied DB a lot. Second off Fist Of The North Star (the first real battle Shonen) had some pretty big and badass fights and DB took a certain amount of inspiration from it. And btw this has a lot of twists too.

Thing with the tails is there's a legend in Japan that for every 100 years a fox lives it grows a new tail and gets smarter and wiser. Also you're more use to new anime were there's more twists and they try to drag stuff out. Older anime tends to be more straightforward with simpler fights. Dragonball z is what influenced a lot of new anime to do bigger longer fights
