This isn't even the tip of the iceberg. Take every emotional anime you've ever watched, multiply it by cancer, and then you will have reached the starting line for the feels trip that is One Piece. Drink plenty of water, there will be tears. And this story is sooo damn good. Minor b-side story plots from long ago will come back in extraordinary ways later on, and you will be floored by Oda's amazing storytelling ability. Honestly, this is going to be one hell of a journey. And there will be times it's best to watch batches at a time, instead of going episode by episode. But that decision is ultimately up to you. Welcome to the feels train, you're gonna laugh, cry, smile, your heart will break, but damn you will love this adventure. I'm not saying One Piece is the best anime around, but it is certainly the best story out of Japan. To give context the 3 top-selling comics of all time worldwide are 1. Superman 2. Batman and 3 One Piece. And One Piece is only 20 years old. That's how good this series is.

Huh? How about the whole crews relationship, specifically with Luffy? How about Luffy, A, and S? There’s so much going on in one piece that ODa doesn’t have the time to dive as deeply into the relationships but he gets just as much emotion out of you through his style of storytelling

Day 4 of my oath: I a 21 year old man do solemnly swear to mention how many episode we are away from catching up to one piece on every single episode that Curtis reacts to and I do not care how long that takes. And on that note: We are 869 episodes away from catching up. P.S WTF patreon this new coloring literally fucked my brain. and yeah one piece does an amazing job of just taking your feels and beating the ever loving crap out of it. It's amazing how they made me care about a dog in half an episode and how satisfied I was when luffy punched his lights out.

I think you’re going to love Luffy’s serious side more so than his goofy side. When Luffy gets serious he can turn into a “I’m going to fuck you up!” badass just like Sebas from Overlord. You’ll see numerous times Luffy is going to ‘Kick someone’s ass’ when he gets pissed.
