I don't know if anyone has actually told Curtis this but Zoro in the English dub is voiced by Chris Sabat the same guy who voices the likes of Vegeta, Piccolo and (even though he hasn't watched Black Clover) Yami.

Later on he is just treated as a comedic villain like Pilaf in Dragon Ball.

If you focus in DBS there is actually a scene in which krillin's phone rings, his ringtone is actually the one piece theme as a cool little reference to them sharing the same VA.
