AANG GOES INTO KING SOLOMON MODE! - Avatar #11

This episode was set up in the classic proverb style. I like the idea of Aang assuming the role of King Solomon. :-)

AANG GOES INTO KING SOLOMON MODE! - Avatar #11

Comments

Earth Kingdom is def chinese but fire nation is Imperial Japan inspired, Tibet for air nomads, and Inuit tribes for water tribes. Not just chinese or just japanese actually

This is widely considered the only filler story of this show. Even the story writers have joked about it.

GoldArthur

Which is great, because it means that the "worst" episode of Avatar is still better than many shows' "best" episode.

Liesmith

Not to be a prude but it based of Chinese history.

Rob

Bato of the Water Tribe

Denickart

This was considered one of the worst episodes in the series too

Hyped for tomorrow's episode one of my favs in the whole series.

Garlic

I'm pretty sure this is the most hated Avatar episode.

Straight White Male

True... Never considered that.

you know thinking back on it, the old man is a pretty bad earthbender if he can't bend without his arms, a lot of earthbending we've seen and will see seems to come from the feet, where the body connects to the ground, it's a powerful heavyset bending form, meant to beat someone into submission or trap them, like think back to Aang's fight with Bumi, he was stomping the ground to send up pillars or throw stone balls without using his hands.

Chrome

Awesome :D

This is the only episode in the whole show that can be considered filler and Aang actually acts out of character a bit in this episode too which is why this episode is considered the worst episode in the series or just the most meh.
