He and I used to watch anime and cartoons like Avatar (ATLA) all the time. It was by far my most prized memories with him. Thanks for the amazing throwbacks!

2019-04-23 22:52:21 +0000 UTCI'm not sure how much of that "pushing limits" is fact vs assumption; I haven't watched or read a lot of interviews, but people were saying this before any interviews came out. It feels more like the show just has an air of maturity to it, and you see some of it as early as the third episode of the first season. Its story builds on itself as it goes. The stakes raise. There's not a particular line where it changes from nice to gritty.
